A Family-friendly Farmstay getaway close to Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Just a stone’s throw away from Jozi and Pretoria, lies Kudu Plains Bush Retreat, our 12 sleeper private self-catering house is located inside the Leeuwkloof Park Private Conservancy, within the Greater Cullinan Area.

The lodge is the ideal setting for a fun family get away, corporate team-building, or weekend away with friends. A blissful escape from the city with wide open spaces, peace, starlit night skies with the sounds of Jackal, Night Jars and the calls of Lion from a distance.

The accommodation is a designer home filled with thoughtful touches that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. The house is spacious and equipped with everything you could need, including boma braai areas, a well-equipped farm-style kitchen, multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas and beautifully designed bedrooms. The entire facility is run off the grid - with Eskom as the backup!

The 600HA Conservancy is home to an impressive range of Plains Game, including Giraffe, Sable, Nyala, Zebra, Kudu, Waterbuck among others which make regular visits to areas surrounding the house.

There is no shortage of things to do on the farm. A spacious lawn area, A jungle gym for the kids which provides hours of entertainment for little ones while the big people keep watch from the overlooking patio. The Maluti Lodge has a sizeable deck & swimming pool overlooking the vast bush. Walking and mountain biking on kilometers of Jeep track is the best way to view the game.

Once you arrive you might not want to leave. Ever! But…for those wanting some Big 5 action, the Ndlovu and Nyati Gates of the Dinokeng Game Reserve are +/- 20 minutes drive. The quaint town of Cullinan is a 25 minute drive and has some lovely restaurants and antique shops too.
